Biography
Actor-musician Mayf Nutter made a splash in Hollywood both on and off-screen. He worked in series television while getting his start in acting, including a part on "Murder, She Wrote" (CBS, 1984-1996). He additionally landed roles in the TV movies "The Macahans" (ABC, 1975-76) and "The $5.20 an Hour Dream" (CBS, 1979-1980). His work around this time also included a part on the TV movie "Night of the Running Man" (HBO, 1994-95). He next focused his entertainment career on film, appearing in the drama "The Stone Boy" (1984) with Robert Duvall and the action picture "Hunter's Blood" (1987) with Sam Bottoms. Nutter also created music for the action film "Deadly Stranger" (1988) with Darlanne Fluegel and the crime drama "Father Hood" (1993) with Patrick Swayze. Most recently, Nutter acted in the Peter Brown family "Big Chuck, Little Chuck" (2004).
