Barbi Benton was an actress who had a successful Hollywood career. Benton began her acting career with roles in the series "Hee Haw!" (1968-1995), "Sugar Time" (ABC, 1976-78) and "CHiPs" (NBC, 1977-1983). She also starred in the TV movies "The Great American Beauty Contest" (ABC, 1972-73) and "The Third Girl From the Left" (ABC, 1973-74). In the beginning of her Hollywood career, Benton acted in films like "Wie Kommt ein So Reizendes Maedchen zu Diesem Gewerbe?" (1970). She also contributed to a variety of television specials, including "Celebrity Challenge of the Sexes" (1979-1980), "A Country Christmas" (CBS, 1979-1980) and "Circus of the Stars" (CBS, 1979-1980).
