Biography
A successful actress, Peg Murray lent her talents to the big screen, most notably in drama. Murray marked her early career with roles in "Love of Life" (1951-1980), the Frank Sinatra crime drama "The Detective" (1968) and "Some of My Best Friends Are..." (1971). She went on to act in "W. W. and the Dixie Dancekings" (1974) with Burt Reynolds, "Murder Ink" (CBS, 1983-84) and "Act of Vengeance" (HBO, 1985-86). She also appeared in "Me and Mrs. C." (NBC, 1985-87). Later in her career, Murray acted in the drama "Bright Lights, Big City" (1988) with Michael J. Fox.
