Biography
Actor Billy Murray appeared on the big screen many times over the course of his Hollywood career. Murray started off his acting career mostly in film roles, appearing in "Poor Cow" (1968) with Carol White, the drama "On a Paving Stone Mounted" (1978) with Jim O'Neill and "McVicar" (1981). He also appeared in the musical "Buddy's Song" (1990) with Roger Daltrey. He also appeared in the TV movie "A Touch of Frost: No Refuge" (1995-96). Murray worked in television around the start of his acting career with a role on "The Rock Follies" (PBS, 1976-77). He kept working in film throughout the early 2000s and the 2010s, starring in the Sean Bean crime picture "Essex Boys" (2000), the crime drama "Rise of the Footsoldier" (2007) with Ricci Harnett and the drama "Dead Cert" (2011) with Steven Berkoff. Film continued to be his passion as he played roles in "Freight" (2012), the Cuba Gooding Jr. action flick "One In the Chamber" (2012) and "Strippers vs. Werewolves" (2012). He also appeared in the Jane March horror movie "Stalker" (2013). Murray most recently produced "Age Of Kill" (2015) with Dexter Fletcher.
