Biography

Jules Munshin was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Munshin found his beginnings in film with roles in the Judy Garland musical "Easter Parade" (1948), "On the Town" (1949) with Gene Kelly and the musical comedy "Take Me Out to the Ball Game" (1949) with Frank Sinatra. Munshin made film his next project, appearing in the Kathryn Grayson dramatic musical "That Midnight Kiss" (1949), "Nous irons a Monte Carlo" (1951) and "Ten Thousand Bedrooms" (1956) with Dean Martin. He also appeared in the adaptation "Silk Stockings" (1957) with Fred Astaire, the Tony Curtis comedy adaptation "Wild and Wonderful" (1964) and the Maurice Chevalier comedic adventure "Monkeys Go Home!" (1967). Munshin was most recently credited in the Zero Mostel comedy "Mastermind" (1976). Munshin passed away in February 1970 at the age of 55.
