Yves Beneyton was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Beneyton began his acting career with roles in such films as the drama "The Young Wolves" (1966) with Haydee Politoff, "Two or Three Things I Know About Her" (1967) and the Mireille Darc drama "Weekend" (1968). He also appeared in the Ugo Pagliai drama "Guardami Nuda" (1971), "In Nome del Padre" (1971) and "Le Mariage a la Mode" (1973). He kept working in film throughout the seventies, starring in the Malka Ribovska drama "Verbrande Brug" (1975), the drama "Le Grand Delire" (1975) with Jean Seberg and "L' Ombre des Chateaux" (1976). He also appeared in "The Lacemaker" (1976). During the latter half of his career, he continued to act in "Letters to an Unknown Lover" (1985), the Clementine Celarie drama "Sanguines" (1988) and the drama "Der Kuss des Tigers" (1988) with Stephane Ferrara. He also appeared in the dramatic period piece "La Revolution Francaise" (1989) with Klaus Maria Brandauer and the Donald Sutherland thriller "Eminent Domain" (1991). Most recently, Beneyton appeared in "Rogue Trader" (Cinemax, 1998-99).
