Jim Moody was an actor who founded his entertainment career success with roles in film. Moody began his acting career with roles in such films as "Fame" (1980), "Fighting Back" (1982) with Tom Skerritt and "Personal Best" (1982) with Mariel Hemingway. He also appeared in the drama "Bad Boys" (1983) with Sean Penn and the Max Gail action movie "D.C. Cab" (1983). His film career continued throughout the eighties and the nineties in productions like the Morgan Freeman biopic drama "Lean on Me" (1989), the Roger Hanin crime sequel "Le Grand Pardon II" (1992) and the comedy "Who's the Man?" (1993) with Dr. Dre. He also appeared in the crime drama "Night Falls on Manhattan" (1997) with Andy Garcia. In his more recent career, he tackled roles in the Hank Azaria dramatic comedy "Celebrity" (1998), the Taye Diggs comedic drama "The Best Man" (1999) and the Sandra Bullock dramedy "28 Days" (2000).
