Biography
John Miranda was an accomplished actor who led an impressive career, primarily on the big screen. To break into the world of acting, Miranda held roles in films like the Monika Ramirez film "Seed of Innocence" (1981). He also appeared in the TV movie "Shattered Spirits" (ABC, 1985-86). He worked in series television while getting his start in acting, including a part on "Murder, She Wrote" (CBS, 1984-1996). He continued to act in productions like the William Shatner smash hit action picture "Star Trek IV" (1986), the Dennis Quaid action flick "Innerspace" (1987) and the Jay Underwood comedy "The Invisible Kid" (1988). He also appeared in the TV special "A Place at the Table" (NBC, 1987-88). Most recently, Miranda appeared in "Postal Worker" (Cinemax, 1999-2000).
