Biography
Joe Minjares was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Minjares's career began by acting in comedies like the Chris Mulkey film "Patti Rocks" (1988) and "Bound and Gagged: A Love Story" (1993) starring Ginger Lynn Allen. He also was featured in the miniseries "Voices Within: The Lives of Truddi Chase" (1989-1990). He worked in television in his early acting career as well, including parts on "Roseanne" (ABC, 1988-1997) and "The Jackie Thomas Show" (ABC, 1992-93). His film career continued throughout the nineties in productions like the Christian Slater drama "Untamed Heart" (1993) and the dramatic period piece "...And the Earth Did Not Swallow Him" (1995) with Jose Alcala. He also starred in the TV movies "Next Door" (Showtime, 1994-95) and "The Computer Wore Tennis Shoes" (ABC, 1994-95). He also was featured in the TV movie "Rattled" (USA, 1995-96). He also worked in television during these years, including a part on "Strange Luck" (Fox, 1995-96). Minjares most recently worked on the Jim Carrey box office smash comedic drama "The Truman Show" (1998).
