Biography
Actor Joseph Pierre was most commonly known for his roles in television dramas. Pierre began his acting career with roles in the series "Street Time" (2001-03), "Tracker" (2001-02) and "Adventure Inc." (2002-03). He also appeared in "Missing" (Lifetime, 2002-05) and "Playmakers" (ESPN Network, 2002-03). He also appeared in the TV movie "Free of Eden" (Showtime, 1998-99). Several more television roles followed in the early 2000s, including stints on "Sue Thomas: F.B.Eye" (ION Television Network, 2002-05) and "Kojak (USA)" (USA, 2004-05). He also starred in the TV movies "Crown Heights" (Showtime, 2003-04) and "Redemption" (FX, 2003-04). Later, he earned a role in the dramatic musical "Get Rich or Die Tryin'" (2005) with 50 Cent. He also played parts in television during these years, including roles in "Sue Thomas: F.B.Eye" (ION Television Network, 2002-05) and "Kojak (USA)" (USA, 2004-05). In his more recent career, he tackled roles on "Rookie Blue" (2009-2015), "Nikita" (CW, 2010-14) and "Saving Hope" (NBC, 2011-12). He also appeared in "King" (Reelz Channel, 2012-14). He also appeared in the Antonio Banderas biopic drama "Take the Lead" (2006). Most recently, Pierre acted on "Orphan Black" (BBC, 2012-).
