Biography
Steven Pierce was an actor best known for his portrayal of characters throughout various television series. Pierce worked on a variety of projects during his early entertainment career, including"3rd Rock From the Sun" (NBC, 1995-2001), "A Bucket of Blood" (Showtime, 1995-96) and "All-New All Star TV Censored Bloopers - Unplugged!" (NBC, 1995-96). He also contributed to "All-Star TV Censored Bloopers - Fat Free!" (NBC, 1995-96) and "Saturday Night Live" (NBC, 1975-). He continued to work steadily in sitcoms throughout the nineties and the early 2000s, appearing on "The Drew Carey Show" (ABC, 1995-2004), "Suddenly Susan" (1996-2000) and "The West Wing" (NBC, 1999-2006). He also appeared in "Curb Your Enthusiasm" (HBO, 2000-2011). Recently, he tackled roles on "According to Jim" (2001-09), "Halfway Home" (Comedy Central, 2006-07) and "The Minor Accomplishments of Jackie Woodman" (IFC, 2006-07). He also appeared in "Evolution" (2001) with David Duchovny and the Will Forte comedy "The Brothers Solomon" (2007). Pierce most recently acted in the Will Smith box office smash action-packed comedy "Hancock" (2008).
