Biography
Ralph Meyering Jr. was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. During the early stages of his acting career, Meyering worked in films like "The Ice Pirates" (1984). He also starred in the TV movies "Doctors' Private Lives" (1977-78), "Fallen Angel" (CBS, 1980-81) and "Dangerous Company" (CBS, 1981-82). He also appeared in "Desperate Lives" (CBS, 1981-82). His work around this time also included a part on the TV movie "Girls in Prison" (Showtime, 1993-94). Following that project, he worked on "The American President" (1995) and the action flick "Born Bad" (1998) with Corey Feldman. He also worked in television during these years, including a part on "NYPD Blue" (1993-2005). Recently, he tackled roles on "The West Wing" (1999-2006), "Without A Trace" (CBS, 2002-09) and "Fastlane" (Fox, 2002-03). He also was featured in the TV movie "Houdini (TNT)" (TNT, 1998-99). Meyering most recently acted in the Shia LaBeouf box office smash action film "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen" (2009).
