Biography
Menken began Menken's acting career with roles in such films as the Mel Brooks comedy "High Anxiety" (1977), the Valerie Landsburg musical "Thank God It's Friday" (1978) and the comedy "The Last Married Couple in America" (1979) with George Segal. Menken also contributed music to the documentary "FTA" (1972) with Jane Fonda. Menken's film career continued throughout the eighties in productions like "Any Which Way You Can" (1980) with Clint Eastwood and "Body Rock" (1984). Menken also appeared in the TV special "The Alan King Show" (CBS, 1985-86). Menken also worked in television during these years, including a part on "Designing Women" (CBS, 1986-1993). In the eighties, Menken lent Menken's talents to projects like "The Telephone" (1988), "Scenes From the Class Struggle in Beverly Hills" (1989) and "Teen Witch" (1989). Menken more recently worked on "Pink Lightning" (Fox, 1990-91).
