Biography
Maureen McVerry was an actress who made a successful career for herself in film. In the early stages of her Hollywood career, McVerry acted in comedies like "Big Business" (1988) with Bette Midler. McVerry worked in television around the start of her acting career with a role on "Full House" (ABC, 1987-1995). Her passion for acting continued to her roles in projects like the action film "Deadlock" (1988) with Steffen Gregory Foster, "The Dead Pool" (1988) and the crime feature "True Believer" (1989) with James Woods. She also appeared in the Hugh Grant comedy adaptation "Nine Months" (1995). Her work around this time also included a part on the TV movie "Deadly Whispers" (CBS, 1994-95). McVerry also created music for the Tom Berenger dramatic adaptation "At Play in the Fields of the Lord" (1991). Most recently, McVerry acted in "Good Luck" (1997) with Gregory Hines.
