Biography
Richard McMurray was a big screen film actor known for powerful performances. McMurray began his career with roles in "The Nurses" (1965-67), the Burt Lancaster drama "The Swimmer" (1968) and the thriller "Zigzag" (1970) with George Kennedy. Later, he acted in "Message to My Daughter" (1973-74), "So Long, Blue Boy" (1973) and "Rancho Deluxe" (1975) with Jeff Bridges. He also appeared in the Robert De Niro dramatic biopic "Raging Bull" (1980). Later in his career, McMurray acted in the Walter Matthau comedic adaptation "First Monday in October" (1981).
