Biography
Tom McKee was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. McKee found his beginnings in film with roles in the Gary Cooper biopic drama "The Court Martial of Billy Mitchell" (1955), the drama "The Search For Bridey Murphy" (1956) with Teresa Wright and the western "Fury at Showdown" (1957) with John Derek. McKee made film his next project, appearing in the musical "Jailhouse Rock" (1957) with Elvis Presley, the biopic "Jeanne Eagels" (1957) with Kim Novak and the crime adaptation "The River's Edge" (1957) with Ray Milland. He also appeared in "Valerie" (1957) with Sterling Hayden and "No Time For Sergeants" (1958) with Andy Griffith. More recently, McKee acted in the Martin Compston drama "Sweet Sixteen" (2003).
