Frank McGrath was an accomplished actor who led an impressive career, primarily on the big screen. McGrath began his career with roles in "The Searchers" (1956) with John Wayne, the Henry Fonda western "The Tin Star" (1957) and "Wagon Train" (NBC, 1957-1965). He went on to act in the Bobby Darin adaptation "Gunfight in Abilene" (1967), the adaptation "The Last Challenge" (1967) with Glenn Ford and the comedy "The Reluctant Astronaut" (1967) with Don Knotts. He also appeared in "The War Wagon" (1967) with John Wayne and the Don Knotts comedy "The Shakiest Gun in the West" (1968). McGrath was most recently credited in "Pioneers of Television" (PBS, 2007-2015). McGrath passed away in May 1967 at the age of 64.
