Kevin McDermott's acting talents were showcased on the big screen many times throughout the course of his Hollywood career. At the start of his acting career, McDermott appeared on television comedies like "Cheers" (NBC, 1982-1993). He also appeared in the TV movie "Heat Wave" (TNT, 1989-1990). He also landed roles in various films, such as the Dennis Quaid historical love story "Come See the Paradise" (1990). His work around this time also included a part on the TV movie "Exclusive" (ABC, 1992-93). He also appeared in the TV special "O Pioneers!" (PBS, 1990-91). He also worked in television around this time, including a part on "Star Trek: Deep Space Nine" (1992-99). McDermott continued to exercise his talent in the nineties, taking on a mix of projects like "Jack the Bear" with Danny DeVito (1993), "ER" (NBC, 1994-2009) and "The Little Rascals" (1994) starring Travis Tedford. His credits also expanded to "Angus" (1995) starring George C Scott and "Dudley Do-Right" (1999). Most recently, McDermott appeared in "Judgment Day" (HBO, 1999-2000).
