Biography
Actress Elizabeth McCarthy was known for her roles on the silver screen. Early on, McCarthy mostly landed roles in various films, including "Nutcracker: The Motion Picture" (1986), the drama "The Delinquents" (1989) with Kylie Minogue and "Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me" (1992) with Ray Wise. McCarthy worked in television around the start of her acting career with a role on "Millennium" (Fox, 1996-99). In the nineties and the early 2000s, McCarthy devoted her time to various credits, such as "The Out-Of-Towners" (1999), "Rat Race" (2001) starring Rowan Atkinson and "Unconditional Love (New Line)" (Starz, 2002). She also worked on "The Untold" (2003) starring Lance Henriksen. She shifted from film to television work through the early 2000s and the 2010s, appearing on "Reaper" (2007-09), "Fringe" (Fox, 2008-2013) and "Once Upon a Time" (ABC, 2011-). Most recently, McCarthy acted on "Mistresses" (ABC, 2012-16).
