John New worked on a variety of projects during his entertainment career. John New worked on a variety of projects during his early entertainment career, including the Michael Keaton and Jack Nicholson hit "Batman" (1989), "Chariots of Fire" (1981) and "High Spirits" (1988) starring Peter O'Toole. He also contributed to "Looks and Smiles" (1981) starring Graham Greene, "Superman IV: the Quest for Peace" with Christopher Reeve (1987) and "The Russia House" (1990). In the nineties, John New devoted his time to various credits, such as "Patriot Games" (1992), "Shining Through" (1992) starring Michael Douglas and "Year of the Comet" with Penelope Ann Miller (1992). John New continued to exercise his talent in the nineties and the early 2000s, taking on a mix of projects like "In Love and War" with Chris O'Donnell (1996), the Tom Hanks and Tom Sizemore hit "Saving Private Ryan" (1998) and the Johnny Depp and Christina Ricci blockbuster "Sleepy Hollow" (1999).
