Michael Massee
Biography
Biography
Character actor Michael Massee's career started with a horrible accident: on the set of his first major film, the 1994 comic-book adaptation "The Crow," an improperly prepared gun his character was firing shot and killed actor Brandon Lee. The imposing-looking Massee is almost always cast as a heavy. Even his starring roles, in low-budget indies such as "Bad City Blues" and "War of the Angels," have been dark, violent characters. He's best known to TV audiences for his recurring characters of terrorist Ira Gaines on the action series "24" and serial killer Charlie Hoyt on police drama "Rizzoli and Isles."
