Martinez worked on a variety of projects during his early entertainment career, including "18 Again" (1988), "Kafka" (1991) and "Pump Up the Volume" (1990). He also contributed to "Rush Week" with Pamela Ludwig (1988), "Sex, Lies, and Videotape" with James Spader (1989) and "Tough Guys" (1986) starring Burt Lancaster. In the nineties, Martinez's music continued to appear on the silver screen, including in films like "Schizopolis" (1997) with Steven Soderbergh, the mystery thriller "Wicked" (1998) with Julia Stiles and the action movie "Out of Sight" (1998) with George Clooney. Martinez's music was also featured in the crime drama "Stiletto" (2009) with Tom Berenger, the drama "In the Beginning" (2009) with GĂ©rard Depardieu and the documentary "Severe Clear" (2010) with Mike Scotti.
