Biography
Don Meredith debuted on a variety of television specials and movies during his acting career. He had a part on the television special "The First 50 Years" (NBC, 1976-77). He also starred in the TV movies "Sky Hei$t" (1974-75), "Terror on the 40th Floor" (NBC, 1974-75) and "Banjo Hackett: Roamin' Free" (NBC, 1975-76). He also appeared in "Mayday at 40,000 Feet!" (1976-77), "Kate Bliss and the Ticker Tape Kid" (ABC, 1977-78) and "The Courage and the Passion" (NBC, 1977-78). He also appeared in the TV special "Texas 150: A Celebration Special" (ABC, 1985-86). He also worked in television during these years, including a part on "Dinah and Friends" (1979-1980). He also starred in the TV movies "Undercover With the KKK" (1979-1980), "Terror Among Us" (CBS, 1980-81) and "The Night the City Screamed" (ABC, 1980-81). He also was featured in the TV movie "Police Story: The Freeway Killings" (NBC, 1986-87). He also lent his distinctive voice to "King of the Hill" (Fox, 1996-2009). Meredith last acted in "Three Days of Rain" (2005). Meredith passed away in December 2010 at the age of 72.
