Biography
Veteran comedy writer whose career spanned 40 years from the halcyon days of radio comedy ("The Fred Allen Show," "Duffy's Tavern) to modern TV classics ("M*A*S*H"). Marks displayed versatility in the 1950s and early 60s, penning comedy-dramas for notable TV series including "Studio One," "Westinghouse Playhouse" and "General Electric Theater," legal mysteries for "Perry Mason," and assorted shenanigans for "Hogan's Heroes." He wrote for dozens of sitcoms during his long career.
