Biography
Patrick McVey was an actor with a strong presence in film throughout his Hollywood career. McVey marked his early career with roles in "Telephone Time" (1955-58), the Robert Taylor crime picture "Party Girl" (1958) and the Cary Grant thrilling mystery "North By Northwest" (1959). Later, he acted in "Hazel" (1961-66), "The Detective" (1968) with Frank Sinatra and "Desperate Characters" (1971) with Shirley MacLaine. He also appeared in "The Visitors" (1972) and "Top Of The Heap" (1972). Later in his career, McVey acted in the sports "Bang the Drum Slowly" (1973) with Robert De Niro. McVey passed away in July 1973 at the age of 63.
