Biography
Actor Tim Ahern was known for his roles on the silver screen. Ahern began his acting career with roles in the series "L.A. Law" (1986-1994), "Quantum Leap" (NBC, 1988-1993) and "Law & Order" (NBC, 1990-2010). He also appeared in the TV movie "Shattered Dreams" (CBS, 1989-1990). Ahern started in the industry by acting in films like the Erika Nagy drama "Hearing Voices" (1991). He also appeared in the TV special "Forever Ambergris" (HBO, 1993-94). Following that project, he appeared in the Billy Crystal comedy "Forget Paris" (1995), the action movie "Kiss the Girls" (1997) with Morgan Freeman and the romance "Last Chance Harvey" (2008) with Dustin Hoffman. He also worked in television around this time, including a part on "Boston Public" (Fox, 2000-04). In his more recent career, he tackled roles in "Mirrors" (2008), "Green Zone" (2010) with Matt Damon and "Hyde Park On Hudson" (2012). He also appeared in the documentary "The Real American - Joe McCarthy (eng.)" (2012) with John Sessions. He held additional roles in television including a part on "Lilyhammer" (Netflix, 2011-15). Most recently, Ahern acted on "Legends" (TNT, 2013-15).
