Biography
Richard Beauchamp was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. He began his acting career with roles in the series "C.P.O. Sharkey" (NBC, 1976-78) and "Angie" (ABC, 1978-1981). He appeared in a number of television specials, including "Jackie and Darlene" (ABC, 1977-78) and "Gaucho" (ABC, 1978-79). His work around this time also included a part on the TV movie "The Killing of Randy Webster" (CBS, 1980-81). He also appeared in the TV special "The Cheap Detective" (NBC, 1979-1980). Following that project, he acted on the silver screen, including roles in the Joey Travolta drama "Sunnyside" (1979) and "G.O.R.P." (1980) with Michael Lembeck. He also was featured in the TV movie "Flight 90: Disaster on the Potomac" (NBC, 1983-84). He also worked in television during these years, including a part on "Zorro and Son" (CBS, 1982-83). He also appeared in the adventure "Secrets of the Phantom Caverns" (1983) with Robert Powell. Beauchamp more recently worked on the action film "Henry V" (1989) with Kenneth Branagh.
