Opened his first cinema, the Windsor

1958

Founded the exibition company, Cinesa, in attempt to popularize the Cinerama system in Spain; became the largest cinema circuit in Spain by the early 1990s

1979

Produced "The Cuennca Crime"; director, Pilar Milo, was court-martialled as a result of the film

1988

Co-founded the rights-brokering company, Cinepaq, with Jose Sainz de Vicuna

1989

Headed the construction of Leganes, an eight-plex theater in Madrid

1992

Became vice-president of Sogepaq, one of Spain's leading independant film distributors; Sogepaq came about as the result of the merging of Cinepaq with Prisa-owned IDEA
