Throughout her acting career, Cady McClain starred in a number of television specials and movies. McClain was nominated for an Outstanding Supporting Actress Daytime Emmy Award for "As the World Turns" in 2002. McClain won an Outstanding Supporting Actress Daytime Emmy Award for "As the World Turns" in 2003. McClain marked her early career with roles in "Cheers" (NBC, 1982-1993) and "A Father's Homecoming" (NBC, 1987-88). Later, McClain acted in "Just a Regular Kid: An AIDS Story" (1987-88), "Simple Justice" (1989) and "ABC Soaps' Most Unforgettable Love Stories" (ABC, 1997-98). She also appeared in "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" (NBC, 1999-). More recently, McClain appeared on "The 33rd Annual Daytime Emmy Awards" (ABC, 2005-06).
