Bob Mason was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. He also appeared in the TV movie "Fatherland" (HBO, 1994-95). He worked in series television while getting his start in acting, including a part on "Agatha Christie's Poirot" (PBS, 1988-2013). Mason also contributed music to "The Offenders" (1979). His work around this time also included a part on the TV movie "Dalziel and Pascoe: Under World" (1998-99). Following that project, he worked on the Julia Roberts dramatic adaptation "Mary Reilly" (1996) and "Felicia's Journey" (1999) with Bob Hoskins. Mason's more recent roles included the comedy "Guest House Paradiso" (2000) with Rik Mayall and the dramatic adaptation "The Emperor's New Clothes" (2002) with Ian Holm. He held additional roles in television including a part on "Teachers (BBCA)" (2001-05). He also had a part in the TV miniseries "The Lakes" (1999-2000). Most recently, Mason appeared in "The Canterbury Tales" (2004-05).
