Keith MacKechnie was an actor with a strong presence in film throughout his Hollywood career. MacKechnie's earliest roles were in film, including the comedy sequel "National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation" (1989) with Chevy Chase, "Straight Talk" (1992) with Dolly Parton and "Big Girls Don't Cry... They Get Even" (1992) with Hillary Wolf. He also appeared in the comedy "Three of Hearts"...

Keith MacKechnie was an actor with a strong presence in film throughout his Hollywood career. MacKechnie's earliest roles were in film, including the comedy sequel "National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation" (1989) with Chevy Chase, "Straight Talk" (1992) with Dolly Parton and "Big Girls Don't Cry... They Get Even" (1992) with Hillary Wolf. He also appeared in the comedy "Three of Hearts" (1993) with William Baldwin, "Pontiac Moon" (1994) and the action picture "Drop Zone" (1994) with Wesley Snipes. He also worked in television during these years, including a part on "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation" (CBS, 2000-2015). He also starred in the TV movies "She Fought Alone" (NBC, 1995-96) and "Norma Jean & Marilyn" (HBO, 1995-96). His career progressed to film, including a role in the comedy "We Married Margo" (2000) with Kevin Bacon. MacKechnie focused on film in more recent years, appearing in the Dennis Hopper action film "Held for Ransom" (2001), the Al Pacino dramatic comedy "S1M0NE" (2002) and the Kurt Russell crime feature "Dark Blue" (2003). He also appeared in "Frost/Nixon" (2008). He also worked in television during these years, including a part on "Supernatural" (2005-). MacKechnie most recently appeared in "When Sparks Fly" (Hallmark Channel, 2014-15).
