Biography
Raul Malo brought his musical talents to a variety of films over the course of his Hollywood career. Malo's early music mostly appeared in comedies like "Michael" (1996) starring John Travolta and the Jack Lemmon film "My Fellow Americans" (1996). In addition to his music, Malo appeared in "Dolly Parton: Treasures" (CBS, 1996-97). In the nineties and the early 2000s, Malo devoted his time to various credits, such as "An All-Star Tribute to Johnny Cash" (TNT, 1998-99), "CMA 40th: A Celebration" (CBS, 1998-99) and "Hope Floats" (1998) starring Sandra Bullock. He also worked on "All the Pretty Horses" (2000). Malo's music was also featured in the Cuba Gooding Jr. comedy adventure "Snow Dogs" (2002) and the Woody Harrelson comedy "Zombieland" (2009). Malo's music was most recently featured in "Grudge Match" (2013) with Sylvester Stallone.
