Biography
Chuck Mangione brought his musical talents to a variety of films over the course of his Hollywood career. Mangione worked on a variety of projects during his early entertainment career, including "A Jazz Session -- Sass & Brass" (Cinemax, 1986-87). In the eighties and the nineties, Mangione devoted his time to various credits, such as "The Best of Cinemax Sessions" (Cinemax, 1989-1990), "Hard to Kill" with Steven Seagal (1990) and "King of the Hill" (Fox, 1996-2009). He also worked on "Blast!" (PBS, 1999-2000). Mangione's music was also a part of the Steven MacKintosh mystery thriller "The Criminal" (2002), the George Clooney comedy "Intolerable Cruelty" (2003) and "Let's Go To Prison" (2006) with Dax Shepard. His music was also featured in the Woody Harrelson comedy "Zombieland" (2009). Mangione's music was most recently featured in the horror feature "Life After Beth" (2014) with Aubrey Plaza.
