Biography
Beloved actress Sonya Y Maddox has appeared in various television shows throughout her Hollywood career. She also appeared in the TV movie "Kids Like These" (CBS, 1987-88). She worked in series television while getting her start in acting, including a part on "Diagnosis Murder" (CBS, 1993-2001). Several more television roles followed in the nineties, including stints on "Sabrina, the Teenage Witch" (1996-2003), "The Wayans Bros" (1996-99) and "Malcolm in the Middle" (Fox, 1999-2006). Her work around this time also included a part on the TV movie "The Dukes of Hazzard -- Hazzard in Hollywood" (CBS, 1999-2000). More recently, she tackled roles on "Invisible Man" (Syfy, 2000-02) and "In Treatment" (HBO, 2007-2011). She also appeared in the Tobey Maguire blockbuster action movie "Spider-Man 3" (2007). Most recently, Y Maddox acted on "Parenthood" (NBC, 2009-2015).
