Actress Kate Magowan was widely known for her presence on the silver screen. Magowan kickstarted her acting career appearing on various television sitcoms, including "Manchild" (2001-03). She also appeared in the TV movie "FourPlay" (Cinemax, 2001-02). During the early stages of her acting career, Magowan worked in films like the Chiwetel Ejiofor crime drama "It Was An Accident" (2001). Following that project, she acted on the silver screen, including roles in the Steve Coogan comedic drama "24 Hour Party People" (2002), "It's All Gone Pete Tong" (2005) and "Kidulthood" (2006) with Aml Ameen. She also worked in television during these years, including a part on "Primeval" (BBC, 2006-2012). Magowan's more recent roles included the Claire Danes comedy adventure "Stardust" (2007), the Philip Glenister action movie "Tuesday" (2008) and the crime drama "Screwed" (2011) with James D'Arcy. Magowan most recently acted in the Ed Speleers action flick "Plastic" (2014). Magowan's husband was John Simm.
