Biography
Alastair Mackenzie was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. He also was featured in the miniseries "The Battle for Rome" (2006-07). He also appeared in the TV movie "David Copperfield" (NBC, 1969-1970). He worked in television in his early acting career as well, including parts on "Midsomer Murders" (ITV 1, 1996) and "Monarch of the Glen" (BBC Scotland, 1999-2006). His work around this time also included a part on the TV movie "The Shell Seekers" (Hallmark Channel, 2007-08). Following that project, he acted on the silver screen, including roles in the Keira Knightley dramatic adaptation "The Edge of Love" (2009), "The New Town Killers" (2009) and the family "Monster Mutt" (2011) with Rhiannon Leigh Wryn. He also worked in television during these years, including a part on "The Mentalist" (CBS, 2008-2015). He also had a part in the TV miniseries "Wolf Hall" (2014).
