Biography
Actor Doug MacLeod was most commonly known for his roles in television dramas. He also starred in the TV movies "Gone in a Heartbeat" (CBS, 1996-97) and "The Incredible Mrs. Ritchie" (Showtime, 2002-03). He worked in series television while getting his start in acting, including a part on "Sue Thomas: F.B.Eye" (ION Television Network, 2002-05). MacLeod also contributed music to the thrilling adaptation "Mimic" (1997) with Mira Sorvino. He continued to work steadily in television throughout the early 2000s and the 2010s, appearing on "Warehouse 13" (2008-2014), "Copper" (BBC, 2011-13) and "The Firm" (NBC, 2011-12). His work around this time also included a part on the TV movie "DC 9/11: Time of Crisis" (Showtime, 2003-04). More recently, he tackled roles on "Orphan Black" (BBC, 2012-) and "Reign" (CW, 2013-). MacLeod most recently acted in the horror film "Poltergeist" (2015) with Sam Rockwell.
