Biography
Joe Lisi rose to fame as an actor, gracing the silver screen many times over the course of his Hollywood career. Lisi began his acting career with roles in such films as "Forever, Lulu" (1987) with Hanna Schygulla, the Robby Benson drama "White Hot" (1989) and "Family Business" (1989) with Sean Connery. He also appeared in the Dennis Quaid historical romance "Come See the Paradise" (1990), the thriller "Traces of Red" (1992) with James Belushi and "Who's the Man?" (1993). He continued to act in productions like the dramatic period piece "Quiz Show" (1994) with John Turturro, the dramatic adaptation "Safe Passage" (1994) with Susan Sarandon and the Johnny Brennan comedy "The Jerky Boys" (1995). He also appeared in the crime picture "Kiss of Death" (1995) with David Caruso. More recently, he continued to act in the drama "Happiness" (1998) with Jane Adams, the John Leguizamo biographical drama "Summer of Sam" (1999) and the Mark Wahlberg crime flick "The Yards" (2000). He also worked in television during these years, including a part on "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" (NBC, 1999-). Lisi most recently acted in the thriller "Man on a Ledge" (2012) with Sam Worthington.
