Chad Lindberg

Biography
Chad Lindberg earned his first substantive role in a feature film as Rory in the 1997 gothic thriller "Black Circle Boys." In the late '90s, he played several bit parts in television series like the alien conspiracy thriller "The X-Files" and the teen horror cult favorite "Buffy the Vampire Slayer." In 1999, Lindberg starred as O'Dell, one of the scrappy and innovative Rocket Boys in "October Sky," the tale of a future NASA scientist's forays into rocketry as a youth. Lindberg's most notable feature-film role came soon thereafter, with the blockbuster muscle-car action movie "The Fast and the Furious." In this testosterone-driven film, Lindberg stood out as the more cerebral Jesse, a scrawny kid who worked under the car hoods, and toward whom the larger, more macho characters (Vin Diesel, Paul Walker) felt protective. The "older brother" attitude towards Lindberg's character provided one of the high-octane film's few emotionally poignant moments. Since "The Fast and the Furious," Lindberg has had several parts on television, including a recurring role on the occult drama series "Supernatural" as Ash, the MIT-student-turned-demon-hunter-with-a-mullet.
