Moved to Los Angeles to enter the Directors Guild of America Apprenticeship Program

Solo directing debut on "Laverne and Shirley"

Signed on with Paramount Pictures to produce "Busting Loose" starring Adam Arkin for CBS

1982

Supervising producer for NBC drama "The Executioner's Song" starring Tommy Lee Jones and Rosanna Arquette

1983

Executive producer of film "Splash" starring Tom Hanks, Daryl Hannah and John Candy

1989

Co-founded (with producer Simon R Lewis) "Making a Short Film" for the UCLA Extension filmmaking program; helped new filmakers to produce, write and direct films to be screened at the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences' Samuel Goldwyn Theater
