Helaine Lembeck was an actress who had a successful Hollywood career. She also was featured in the miniseries "A Rumor of War" (1980-81). She appeared in a number of television specials, including "Frankie and Annette: The Second Time Around" (NBC, 1978-79) and "It's Garry Shandling's Show -- 25th Anniversary Special" (Showtime, 1985-86). She worked in series television while getting her start in acting, including a part on "Magic Mongo" (ABC, 1977-78). She also worked in television during these years, including a part on "Doogie Howser, M.D." (ABC, 1989-1993). She also starred in the TV movies "Infidelity" (1986-87), "Lady Mobster" (ABC, 1988-89) and "Danielle Steel's" (NBC, 1993-94). She also worked in film during these years, including a part on the comedy "Paramedics" (1988) with George Newbern. Recently, she tackled roles on "Malcolm in the Middle" (1999-2006), "Abby" (UPN, 2002-03) and "Center of the Universe" (CBS, 2004-05). She also appeared in the Rachel McAdams dramatic adaptation "The Time Traveler's Wife" (2009). She also was featured in the TV movie "The O.J. Simpson Story" (Fox, 1994-95). Lembeck most recently worked on "Tooth Fairy" (2010).
