John G. Lenic

Biography
Very few people could have ever predicted that the 1994 feature film "Stargate" would wind up providing the spark for a massive, ongoing TV series franchise filmed in Vancouver. But such is the case, and producer John G. Lenic for one is mighty grateful for this turn of sci-fi events. Beginning in 1999 with his work as a unit manager on "Stargate SG-1," which expanded the following year to production manager duties, Lenic has ridden the Syfy Channel cornerstone for all it's worth. He has since been a production manager and producer on "Stargate: Atlantis," a producer of "SGU Stargate Universe," and a producer of multiple video movie one-offs. His early days as an assistant producer have also given way to another job title on the "Stargate" cottage industry, that of assistant to the co-executive producer. In other words, on the production side of things for "Stargate," Lenic has pretty much done, and seen, everything.
