Biography
Angela Lewis was an actress who had a successful Hollywood career. Lewis worked on a variety of projects during her early entertainment career, including "A Cry For Help: The Tracey Thurman Story" (NBC, 1989), "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" (NBC, 1999-) and "Prancer" (1989) starring Sam Elliott. She also contributed to "School Daze" with Laurence Fishburne (1988). She continued to work steadily in television throughout the early 2000s, appearing on "The Good Wife" (CBS, 2009-2016) and "The Big C" (Showtime, 2010-13). In her more recent career, she tackled roles on "The Last Ship" (TNT, 2014-) and "Code Black" (CBS, 2015-). She also appeared in the Chris Rock comedy "Top Five" (2014). Lewis most recently acted on "Snowfall" (FX, 2017-).
