Biography
Actor Anil Kumar was most commonly known for his roles in television dramas. Early on, Kumar landed roles on various dramatic series, including "ER" (NBC, 1994-2009), "JAG" (CBS, 1995-2005) and "Oz" (HBO, 1997-2003). He also appeared in "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" (NBC, 1999-) and "Six Feet Under" (HBO, 2000-05). Kumar began his entertainment career acting in films like the drama "Amma Ariyan" (1987) with Joy Mathew. Several more television roles followed in the early 2000s, including stints on "24" (2001-2010), "The Agency" (CBS, 2001-03) and "Miss Match" (NBC, 2003-04). He also appeared in "NCIS" (CBS, 2003-) and "Nip/Tuck" (FX, 2003-2010). Later, he earned a role in the comedy "American Desi" (2001) with Deep Katdare. In his more recent career, he tackled roles on "E-Ring" (2005-06), "K-Ville" (Fox, 2007-08) and "Life" (NBC, 2007-09). He also appeared in "The Cape" (NBC, 2010-11) and "Revenge" (ABC, 2011-15). Most recently, Kumar acted on "State Of Affairs" (NBC, 2014-15).
