Biography
After an early introduction to show business as Wendy, the face of the Wendy's fast-food chain, actress Clare Kramer became best known to audiences for her part in the cheerleader drama "Bring It On" and as a recurring character on the supernatural hit series "Buffy the Vampire Slayer." Born in Atlanta and raised in Ohio, she first acted in TV commercials and was cast as Wendy at age 14. She later studied drama, earning a B.F.A. from the prestigious Tisch School of the Arts at New York University before working her way into film and television productions. After several less visible roles, she landed the part of a tough cheerleader in "Bring It On," beside co-stars Kirsten Dunst and Eliza Dushku. She broadened her audience as a recurring devilish hell-goddess, an enemy of "Buffy the Vampire Slayer," and as a supporting player in the adaptation of the Bret Easton Ellis novel about bratty rich kids and their romantic pursuits, "The Rules of Attraction." Subsequent work included guest spots on TV series and bigger parts in minor thrillers and horror films. Kramer has also collaborated on films, directing and sharing writing duties with producer husband Brian R. Keathley, with whom she has two daughters.
