Biography

Through the 2000s, the career of Bobby Campo has mostly consisted of television movies and series. However, he did log one major film role during the decade: the lead in the '09 "The Final Destination," which thrived at the box office. He played Nick O'Bannon, a young man who narrowly avoids death thanks to a last-minute premonition, only to find that Death is not finished with him yet. That same year, Campo also guest-starred on an episode of the hit drama "Mental," and played the primary love interest in the direct-to-video comedy sequel "Legally Blondes." He also appeared in '09 episodes of the crime procedurals "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" and "CSI: Miami." After the success of "The Final Destination," during the early 2010s he was cast as the lead in "Séance," about a group of friends who break into a mortuary and inadvertently summon a demon. Campo got his start during the mid-2000s in an episode of the drama "South Beach," in which he played a fan of a fashion model that gets beaten up by her jealous boyfriend. That led to a guest-starring role in the comedy-drama "Greek," where he played the character Trent during the first two episodes of the show's second season, which aired in '08.
