Biography
Eugene Leahy was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. In 1922, he made his film debut in "The Life of Lord Byron." In 1938, he appeared in "The Islandman." In 1951, he began appearing on the TV series "BBC Sunday-Night Theatre." In 1959, he had his final TV role on the mini-series "The Infamous John Friend." Leahy began his career with a role in "Love From a Stranger" (1937). Leahy next focused his career on film, appearing in "The Heart of the Matter" (1954). Later in his career, Leahy acted in the Peter Cushing adaptation "The Curse of Frankenstein" (1957). Leahy passed away in February 1967 at the age of 84.
