Randi Layne was an actress who was no stranger to being featured in numerous film roles throughout her Hollywood career. Layne began her acting career appearing mainly in films, such as "Impure Thoughts" (1986) with John Putch and the comedy sequel "Sleepaway Camp 3: Teenage Wasteland" (1988) with Pamela Springsteen. She also appeared in the TV movie "Caroline?" (CBS, 1989-1990). She worked in television in her early acting career as well, including a part on "In the Heat of the Night" (CBS, 1987-1994). She continued to work steadily in film throughout the eighties and the nineties, appearing in the Clark Brandon comedy adventure "Fast Food" (1989). She also starred in the TV movies "Web of Deceit" (USA, 1990-91) and "When Will I Be Loved?" (NBC, 1990-91). In the nineties and the early 2000s, Layne lent her talents to projects like "Kalifornia" with Brad Pitt (1993), "Fled" (1996) and "Summer Catch" with Freddie Prinze Jr. (2001). Her credits also expanded to the Reese Witherspoon and Josh Lucas smash hit "Sweet Home Alabama" (2002). Layne most recently worked on the Martin Lawrence comedy sequel "Big Mommas: Like Father, Like Son" (2011).
