Karen Landry was an actress who had a successful Hollywood career. Landry began her acting career appearing mainly in films, such as "The Personals" (1982), the Chris Mulkey comedy "Patti Rocks" (1988) and "Heartbreak Hotel" (1988) with David Keith. She also appeared in the TV movie "The Ordeal of Patty Hearst" (ABC, 1978-79). She worked in television in her early acting career as well, including parts on "M*A*S*H" (CBS, 1972-1983) and "St. Elsewhere" (NBC, 1982-88). In the nineties, she shifted her entertainment career towards more dramatic roles, appearing on "Civil Wars" (ABC, 1991-93) and "Crime & Punishment" (NBC, 1992-93). Her career progressed to film, including a role in the Lou Diamond Phillips drama "Ambition" (1991). Landry focused on film in more recent years, appearing in "Jimmy Zip" (1999), the Scott Mechlowicz dramatic adaptation "Peaceful Warrior" (2006) and the dramatic adaptation "Sweet Land" (2006) with Alan Cumming. She also worked in television during these years, including roles in "Criminal Minds" (CBS, 2005-) and "Justified" (FX, 2009-2015). Landry most recently acted on "Rizzoli & Isles" (TNT, 2009-16).
