Biography
Rajat Kapoor was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Kapoor started his acting career landing roles in such films as "Khayal Gatha" (1989) with Pandit Birju Maharaj, the Naseeruddin Shah comedy "Monsoon Wedding" (2002) and "Mixed Doubles" (2006) with Ranvir Shorey. He also appeared in the Vinay Apte foreign "Corporate" (2006), "Bheja Fry" (2007) and the Irrfan Khan adventurous drama "Apna Asmaan" (2007). He kept working in film throughout the early 2000s, starring in the dramatic period piece "Lost Moon" (2007) with Shiney Ahuja, "Hulla" (2008) and the suspenseful mystery "Via Darjeeling" (2008) with Kay Kay Menon. More recently, he continued to act in "Siddharth: The Prisoner" (2009), "Teree Sang" (2009) with Ruslaan Mumtaz and "Raat Gayi Baat Gayi" (2009). He also appeared in the Amitabh Bachchan drama "Rann" (2010) and "Jo Dooba So Paar - It's Love in Bihar!" (2011). Kapoor most recently acted in the foreign "Drishyam" (2015) with Ajay Devgan.
